Privacy Policy
Draft for review before launch
What we collect
CTAURA is usable without an account. We collect the votes you cast, a randomly generated session identifier stored in your browser, and standard server request data such as IP address, user agent and timestamp.
Administrators who sign in provide an email address handled by our authentication provider.
Voting and session information
A session identifier is generated in your browser's local storage the first time you vote. It is not tied to your name or email. We use it to group your votes, build your personal picks summary, and detect automated voting.
Clearing your browser storage removes the identifier and starts a new anonymous session.
Analytics
We may record aggregate usage counts such as total votes and page requests. Aggregate figures shown on the site are derived from vote records, not from individual tracking profiles.
Cookies
CTAURA does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Signed-in administrators receive a session cookie required for authentication.
Third-party services
The site runs on managed hosting and database infrastructure, uses an authentication provider for administrator sign-in, and may load profile images from third-party image services. Those providers process request data on our behalf.
Profile information about public accounts may originate from permitted third-party APIs and feeds. Their own terms and privacy notices apply to data you access on their platforms.
Data retention
Vote records and ranking history are retained for as long as the ranking exists, because they define the scores. Request logs are retained for a limited operational period.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Because voting is anonymous, we may need the session identifier from your browser to locate related records.
If you appear on CTAURA and want your profile removed, contact us and we will review the request.
